The Gloucestershire Oracle will not disclose any of your personal information, including private email address, to any third party, unless required by law.

Only information which is in the public domain already, either on a website, advertisements, brochures, or information which you supply for inclusion on this site via our Submission Form, or by email, or in writing, will be published on The Gloucestershire Oracle.

By 'liking' or '+1ing' businesses or The Gloucestershire Oracle itself, you agree that your name may be accessible to The Gloucestershire Oracle administrators.

When submitting information to us using the submission form, we log IP addresses to enable us to block spammers and to identify fake entries. These IP addresses are only stored for a limited time, and cannot personally identify you.

Additional Terms for Members - Membership

The Gloucestershire Oracle offers Gloucestershire-based, family-friendly businesses one free listing per organisaton. By submitting your listing you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

When submitting a business listing, please read our 'how to write your business listing' guide.

Please note we do not accept submissions from businesses of an adult-only nature, or those with links to websites, Facebook accounts or Twitter accounts containing non family-friendly content. We do not accept listings from directory sites.

All advertisements and listings must be honest and decent.

We reserve the right to refuse listings from businesses that do not meet our criteria or those which we consider inappropriate for any reason.

We reserve the right to remove or modify any listings for any reason, at our discretion.

We are not responsible for transactions or agreements between you and third parties.

Free listings may only be updated once per year, or less by payment of an adminstrative fee.

Additional Terms for Members - Copyright and Child Protection

Please ensure the text and pictures you supply are your own copyright. By submitting images you are giving permission for the Gloucestershire Oracle to display them on the website and/or newsletter. Please do not send us pictures of identifiable children unless you have permission from their parent or guardian. Anyone submitting content which is not their copyright will have their listing removed and membership withdrawn without notice. Any fees paid will not be refunded. You will be responsible for any copyright infringements caused by submitting your listing to The Gloucestershire Oracle.

Additional Terms for Members - Security

You are responsible for updating your listing via the password system. You are required to ensure that you have a strong password and that it is not disclosed to anyone else. At our discretion, We reserve the right to change the password used by you in connection with the site and to suspend your access to the site without notice to yourself. We cannot be responsible for anyone altering your listing due to an unsecure password or disclosure of a password to a third party. If you believe that someone may have obtained your password you should contact us immediately.

Additional Terms for Members - Payment

Prices are as shown on the website, on the day an order is placed or agreed with us via email. Prices are subject to change. All charges payable by Advertisers for Services requested from The Gloucestershire Oracle shall be due and payable (and cleared by the bank if applicable) in advance of provision of the Services. All payment to be made in UK pounds sterling. If a Client's cheque is returned by the bank as unpaid, for any reason, the Client will be liable for a "returned cheque" charge. You may cancel a listing or display advertisement at any time. Pro-rata refunds will not be issued for services cancelled before their expiry date.

You will be sent an invitation to renew any premium or display advertisements and given the opportunity to renew. If payment is not forthcoming by the due date, premium listings will be downgraded to a free entry and display advertisements removed from the site.

Credit card details are processed solely by Stripe.com, and are never transmitted to the Gloucestershire Oracle team or servers. If your card is declined for any reason, this may result in an administration charge which must be settled. Failure to do so will result in suspension of any advertisement, including free listings and a ban on using our services in the future.

If you make payment for any service we provide, but your business/organisation does not meet our terms and conditions, all refunds will be subject to any administration charge.

These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
