We are proud of the contribution we make each year to the cultural activities of the town and of our well-established reputation for the high standards of our productions. If you are interested in the theatre, why not join us? We are always looking for new members and you don’t have to be an actor or director. There are plenty of opportunities to help backstage.

New members welcome back stage, acting, front of house. We hold monthly play readings for entertainment and to encourage new members. They are fun and informal so come along and see if you like it.

An amateur dramatic society based in Cheltenham, has been together for 29 years producing an annual musical and pantomime and also performing concerts catering for young and old alike and with the help of our Young Promenaders are passing on skills, both on stage and backstage.

We are passionate about providing young children with drama classes that are not only fun and exciting but which also develop key social skills such as confidence, concentration, co-operation and creative problem solving. Through our unique programme which combines the disciplines of drama, movement, music and play, we help children explore and make sense of, the world in which they live. We also offer a wide range of fun-filled parties which have been created especially for the party environment.

Four separate groups cater for ages 3 to 18 years. Great fun. Build confidence, social skills and awareness. May be a waiting list for places.

South Cerney Players are an Amateur Dramatics Group, established in 1936. The Players produce several high quality drama productions every year, in Spring and Autumn. We also organise theatre visits and other social events for members.

Founded in 1966, the group puts on high quality productions to audiences in Churchdown. If you are interested in any aspects of amateur theatre and wish to join an enthusiastic group, why not come along. We offer a warm welcome to new members.

Stagecoach Gloucester provides quality performing arts training for children aged 4-18yrs . We pride ourselves on developing skills in performing arts as well as developing creativity, imagination and teamwork. We deliver high quality training in singing, dancing and acting from our team of expert teachers. We are inclusive, nurturing all our students, whether they are pursuing a career in theatre, building confidence or want to have fun and make new friends. We love performing to an audience and look for opportunities to perform whenever possible! Come and join the fun!

The Cotswold Savoyards was formed in 1962 to produce the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. Approximately half our shows are now G&S and half from other composers. We stage two productions per year, each running for a week; one at Cheltenham's amateur theatre, The Playhouse, the other at the town's professional theatre, The Everyman. The society is always keen to attract new members, whether as singers or as helpers in some capacity.

The Crown Players are a long-established amateur theatre group based in the city of Gloucester. Formed in 1956, we began life as the St Barnabas Players. In 1987 we moved to the Kings Theatre and changed our named in 1993. We have 3 to 4 productions a year, with comedy a speciality, and a pantomime every other year.

The society currently stages three senior shows a year, plus one show from it's thriving Junior group. The society is a warm, friendly and welcoming group that embraces all newcomers of all ages, and encourages them to realise their talents whether that be on stage, backstage, wardrobe, lighting, sound etc.

We put on our main productions, three or four a year, at the Kings Theatre Gloucester. We try and put on plays that challenge us but also give our audience an enjoyable theatrical experience.

The Rococo Players brings together the best amateur and semi-professional actors in the county to create classic drama in atmospheric locations for a discerning audience. Formed in 2003 to continue the fine tradition of presenting open-air Shakespeare productions at The Rococo Garden in Painswick, Gloucestershire, UK, the Players have since performed at many indoor venues including Berkeley Castle, Warwick Castle, Gloucester Cathedral and Oriel College, Oxford.

Workshops in drama, dance and singing for children aged between 4 and 18 years of age on Thursday and Friday evenings and on Saturday. Also run week-long Summer and Easter courses during the school holidays.
