Gardening Clubs & Horticultural Societies in Gloucestershire

Activities during the year include a programme of talks and social events, garden visits in summer, both local and further afield, social gatherings, an annual open show in August, and a Chrysanthemum Show at the end of October. Indoor meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.

A friendly group of enthusiastic gardeners who meet above the Wye Valley in the Royal Forest of Dean. Each month we either have a speaker, event or an arranged group visit which allows members to socialise and exchange ideas. You are very welcome to join us. Membership will allows you to take advantage of discounts at participating local Garden Centres.

The Society offers much to interest its members, be it winter talks, garden visits in the spring, plant exchanges and of course the annual show and fete held at the village hall in August each year.

The Society was formed in 1975 to promote and encourage the growing, knowledge and education in the culture of orchids.We are a very friendly Society and if you've got 1 or 100 orchids, or would like to know more before buying your first plant, why not join us? Whatever your level of interest, knowledge or experience we have something for you. Monthly meetings, talks, demonstrations, two flower and craft shows a year, discounts at local nurseries.

If you are interested in growing Pelargoniums or Fuchsias, why not join us? At our monthly meetings we have guest speakers, monthly competitions, plants for sale, a raffle and refreshments. Visitors and potential new members are very welcome to come along to any of our meetings. We put on two open flower shows a year in June and July and have a members-only mini show in June. Meetings take place on the last Monday of each month except August and December, starting at 7.30pm.

The Club, whose members are of all ages, enjoy monthly meetings, garden visits, events and social occasions. The club is always keen to welcome new members, and gardeners of all abilities and ages are warmly invited to come along and join us.

We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, which enables us to offer members coach trips with free entry to Wisley and Rosemoor. We are a friendly group, with members ranging from absolute beginners to enthusiastic specialists. Meetings - usually with a guest speaker - are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October through to May.
