Scouts are split into different age groups: Beaver Scouts (aged 6-8); Cub Scouts (aged 8-10) and Scouts (aged 10-14), Explorer Scouts (14-18 years). For details of scouting in Gloucestershire see website.

A performing arts and drama organisation, supported by MPG Theatre Company, Tongues of Fire and the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, GYTC employs trained theatre professionals to deliver high quality performance training. Sessions run weekly throughout the school term

The club’s members organise regular events during the week and at weekends, including meals out, country walks, pub nights, tennis, theatre trips, live music, parties and weekends away - one person suggests an activity and invites fellow members along. Open to both singles and couples, many join after moving to the area, others are wishing to expand their social circle.

The club was formed in May 1993 to promote kite flying in North Gloucestershire. The club is open to members of all ages and we fly all types of kites. Children are welcome and catered for even if not active kite fliers. We meet on the fourth Sunday of each month, from 11am until about 4pm

Mens cricket team play friendly games on Sunday. Junior team have regular games. Local juniors of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend training.

The Society promotes interest in local history by arranging speakers at monthly meetings, maintaining a lending library of books and pamphlets of local interest, sponsoring classes, as well as researching and publishing articles and booklets on local history. Meetings held from September to April.

At the present time, all age groups from Under 14 down to Under 7 are being catered for. With space being limited at Gotherington, the club has had to move some of its training and league matches out to Winchcombe School. There is a waiting list to join some age groups.

The Gotherington Singers are a friendly and committed choir of about 40 women's voices from the Cheltenham area. They have performed successfully in music festivals both in the UK and overseas, and have also raised thousands of pounds singing for local charities. They always welcome new members.

Watercolour classes and workshops for beginners and improvers by and experienced professional artist. Small classes. Also available for demonstrations and workshops for Art Groups.

We have a large studio timetable, with a fantastic choice of classes in Zumba, body pump, body step, body combat, kettlebells, circuits, aerobics, yoga, pilates and more, fully equipped fitness suite, personal training, running club. Great membership deals starting from £15 per month or pay as you go. A variety of classes held at Tewkesbury and Cheltenham venues.

If you want to try the sport for the first time, or just looking for a new club having moved into the area then Great Rissington Archers could be for you. We have full size outdoor shooting facilities for all distances and run beginner’s courses each year. Children must be at least 140cm tall and around 11 years old.

Our goal is for you to gain the benefits of a healthier lifestyle by the use of our services and facilities, including: aerobic training equipment, resistance machines, personalised training programme, circuit training and more. You have nothing to lose by trying us out...apart from fat loss of course!

The club meets on the first and third Thursday of the month, with a visiting speaker. Other social events arranged throughout the year. New members welcome.

Hands on Bushcraft offer a wide range of bushcraft and survival courses from our woodland sites in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and East Sussex. All of which are fun as well as informative, our aim is for you to go away from our courses with a sense of achievement and increased confidence in your abilities in bushcraft, wilderness living and sustainability. Courses range from basic one day courses through to specialist and bespoke courses.

Happenstance is a mixed Border Morris side dancing to live music. Mixed Border welcomes both men and women of all ages as dancers and musicians. We meet at every Thursday night in the winter months (October–April). In the summer months we 'dance out'. If you are interested in joining as a dancer, musician or supporter please get in touch.

Gymnastics classes for children from 15 months up to year 7. Also offers birthday parties: an hour of musical games, fun party activities and games, followed by half an hour for food (not provided). Includes, invitations, ballons, pass a parcel and prizes. Parties held at Charlton Kings Infant School.
