Gloucestershire Leisure Netball - Challengers Netball Club


We are a Tewkesbury based netball club that currently has 4 teams competing in the Gloucestershire Netball League in the PREMIER division and divisions 1,2 and 5. We also offer the younger players the opportunity to progress from High 5 netball, through to the U14, U16 and divisional Gloucestershire Leagues. They are also taking part in the newly formed Cotswold Junior League on a Sunday once a month. We train indoors at Tewkesbury High School, and have a wealth of experienced coaches to motivate and discipline us.

Football for boys and girls between 8 and 18. Saturday club for children aged 6 to 8 who want to learn basic football skills and progress into the league teams from U9 onwards. Three senior teams competing in the Cheltenham Association Football League. Our mission is to provide football to all, regardless of ability or background. Famous old boys include former Cheltenham Town players Martin Devaney, Michael Jackson and Stuart Fraser.

The club welcomes all players of any age and ability and runs junior sessions for local children on Sunday mornings. On Saturdays Chedworth play in Division 1 of the Cotswold District League and were division champions in 2003. Chedworth also participate in the Evening Knockout cup and play evening friendly matches throughout the summer against local school staff sides and on occasional Sunday afternoons.

For road riders, we organise regular Club Runs all year round. During winter months (November-March), we also organise the areas very popular winter training rides. On the racing side we run a popular club time trials series as well as Open Time Trials.
