The Society was formed in 1982, to provide a focus for those interested in the history of Cheltenham. Its aims include the gathering, study and publication of historical local information. Talks open to all (normally on third Tuesday of each month from September to April), visits to places of interest and members' evening.

If you are interested in motoring/motorsport, then we can offer you all the assistance or advice you need to become involved yourself. Our full members are involved in all forms of motorsport at all levels, whether it is competing, marshalling or organising. Throughout the year we run a number of low budget events that are an ideal introduction to motorsport.

I teach a range of abilities, from nervous beginners, to those who are preparing for exams, auditions, competitions, GCSE and A level performance and entrance to university or music college. Whether your interest in piano is purely for leisure, or you have more professional aspirations, I am happy to hear from you.

We have a full timetable of classes in Pilates, Yoga and Barre Workout. We are a specialist Stott Pilates™ studio, with Mat classes, Dynamic Reformer groups, and our new high-energy Barre Workout. We also offer Dynamic Flow, Ashtanga, Power, Hatha & Yoga Core, plus Mum and Baby, Pregnancy Yoga and Baby Massage. Private sessions are another popular option. Sports massage therapy - we work with everyone from elite athletes to those rehabilitating from injury, and consultant, physiotherapist and osteopath referrals.

In Cheltenham there are 11 autonomous Probus Clubs. These clubs have formed a "Combined Clubs Committee" which arranges trips and visits to places of interest for all members.Renowned for their informality, Probus Club meetings, held at regular intervals, perhaps twice monthly, may consist of a rendezvous for morning coffee, followed by a talk by an invited speaker on a topic of interest to the members. Members themselves contribute to the programme with accounts of their experiences or by providing entertainment at festive occasions.

Our regular walking will be making the best use of the local area for Sunday and short evening walks. Saturday longer distance walkers will have plenty to occupy them as far afield as Berkshire or the Black Mountains, Wales. There are also social activities with a Boules evening in July, a club lunch and a DIY barbeque in August.

The club has four senior football teams and eleven junior teams ages 6-18.Also mini soccer sides from Under 7 - Under 8 playing friendlies and training on Saturday mornings at The Folley Playing Fields, Cheltenham, also the Under 9 and Under 10 play Saturday morning in the Cheltenham Youth League / Mid Glos Mini Soccer League. New players welcome.

The Band plays regularly at bandstands and community events around the Cheltenham area. We are also a contesting band and compete in the fourth section. New players are always welcome and if you would like to learn to play we have a training band too suitable for ages 6 to 60!

One of the few clubs offering water polo and synchronised swimming as well as competitive swimming. Swim 21 accredited. Affiliated to Western Counties & Gloucester County ASA & Royal Life Saving Society.

We are a very friendly league that caters for all table tennis abilities. New players are always welcome, whether you're a veteran looking to join a league team or somebody that is new to the sport. During the season, training and practice nights are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9.30pm from September to July.

Having been established for over ten years, we are the premier tag rugby club in Cheltenham. Every Sunday morning for an hour, over 200 primary school aged children turn up for fun, structured activities, whilst the parents enjoy a bacon roll and cup of coffee. Enthusiastic, highly-motivated coaches will ensure that every child has a brilliant session whilst developing skills.

We are a fun and friendly Cheltenham based netball team playing in Division 3 of the Gloucestershire Netball League.

A group of Wargamers dedicated to the hobby of heroes. We play Warhammer Fantasy Battle, 40K, Mordheim, Necromunda, Blood Bowl and loads of other GW games. We also play Flames of War, Napoleonics, Warmachine, Blitzkrieg Commander, Warmaster Ancients, Legends of the High Seas and a whole bunch of other stuff. We play a huge variety of games and scales, are avid painters, scenery builders and hobby enthusiasts. We are always looking for new members but because we operate the club where there are bar facilities we only take members 14+ (under 16s must be accompanied by a supervisory adult).
