We provide swimming lessons from beginners to advanced level following the ASA (Amature Swimming Association) National Plan for Teaching Swimming aswell as other ASA Awards. Originally called 'Swim School', Aquanauts Swim School is now run by Ben Westlake who is a qualified ASA teacher. The Swim School is ASA affiliated and provides a good level of instruction from caring teachers who can get even the most nervous of pupils swimming.

A small, friendly competitive club that offers something for all levels of swimmers from friendly galas and leagues, county competitions, Western Counties to national Competitions.

The centre is home to a 25 metre swimming pool, six-court sports hall, two fully-equipped air-conditioned fitness suites, squash and all weather tennis courts. Membership required.

One of the few clubs offering water polo and synchronised swimming as well as competitive swimming. Swim 21 accredited. Affiliated to Western Counties & Gloucester County ASA & Royal Life Saving Society.

A thriving competitive swimming club, comprising approximately 100 swimmers, the Club trains four times a week and competes at levels from local to district standard. Some of our swimmers also have the opportunity to train in a 50m pool.

The Club's main aims are to teach swimming from the ages of 5 years onwards and to encourage competitive swimming from the age of 10 to adult. Swimmers progress through the squads from Squids through to Phoenix. All swimmers are encouraged to compete in the Club Championships and older swimmers are selected to represent the club in various local and national leagues. Swimmers with county, regional or national qualifying times are encouraged to compete in the relevant championships.

Caters for swimmers of all ages and ability, starting with beginners through to the A Squad. Weekly training sessions are provided, with progressive teaching leading through ultimately to squad training and competition.

Four swimming pools provides a variety of sessions from fun to serious swimmers. Fitness arena, exercies studio and health spa. Swimming lessons for children and adults, adult and baby water confidence classes, pre-school swimming classes. Sports courses and sessions, Kids birthday parties, choose from: sporty birthday parties, football party, princess party, pirate party (6-8yrs), fun pool party and waterwalkers party.

Based at GL1, which has international standard facilities, the club is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association and offers swimmers opportunities to achieve ever-higher standards.

Formed in 1988 by Mike Phelps to promote fitness through swimming and competition in Masters events at regional, national and international fixtures. Membership open to swimmers aged 18 or over. Coaching and stroke improvement. Social events are held through the year.

To join the club, swimmers should preferably have achieved an ASA level 8 award. The club will help you work up to Level 12. Please contact the club to arrange a trial.

Babies and children can join our friendly, structured swimming classes at any age from birth. In our caring and supportive environment a baby enjoys freedom of movement, relaxation and bonding; a toddler gains confidence and water safety skills; a child learns to swim without armbands. At all times we promote fun and enjoyment, putting your child's happiness first.

We have spent many years carefully developing our progressive lesson plans to develop swimmers, our teachers adapt activities to suit each child. Our baby-led swimming approach ensures that your child’s needs are expertly fulfilled – never forcing development, but nurturing confidence and unlocking their potential to swim. Taught in lovely warm pools with a maximum of ten children, our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research. We also teach invaluable water-safety and personal survival skills.
