Adult & Children's Tennis Coaching & Clubs in Gloucestershire: Kid's Tennis Camps

The club provides many opportunities for competitive and social tennis. Club sessions are held five times a week, teams play in local leagues, and there are regular tournaments too. Several weekly coaching sessions (particularly for juniors) are also held at the club. Apart from these sessions members may use the courts for playing tennis whenever they like. Booking is not normally necessary, except perhaps when using the floodlights.

The club provides its members with five floodlit, all-weather courts. Adult and junior clubs and coaching. Chalford enters both Mens and Ladies doubles teams in the Gloucestershire LTA inter-club league, and team captains are always keen to meet new players, so you can either turn up at a practise session or contact one of the captains to ask for more information.

The centre is home to a 25 metre swimming pool, six-court sports hall, two fully-equipped air-conditioned fitness suites, squash and all weather tennis courts. Membership required.

The club has appointed a coach, which has improved our contact with local schools, and a thriving young peoples tennis community now exists. In addition, coaching is available to club members, either in small groups, or on a one to one basis by individual arrangement with our coach.

Stroud Tennis Club is a friendly group of tennis lovers. We take our tennis seriously but we keep it fun, (you cannot be serious!). We play mostly doubles with some singles. We are a very friendly and welcoming club. Always open to new members.
