There are many talented artists, designers and craftspeople producing a wide range of art and crafts throughout Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean, including painting, ceramics, pottery and sculptures. Why not visit one of the art galleries or craft centres to view their work? Most galleries put on special events and exhibitions throughout the year.
Based in the 17th century Tudor House building, the Museum exhibits are displayed across three floors, dating from the 17th to 21st centuries. There are local objects such as Sheldon tapestries, Worcester porcelain, William Morris tiles and Winchcombe Pottery. The top floor includes a dedicated gallery for temporary exhibitions, providing local artists with the opportunity to display their work. Tudor House is a fantastic Grade II * property on the main Broadway Village High Street. The displays have been curated and designed by the staff of the Ashmolean Museum.
Talented artists, designers and craftspeople have worked in and around Chipping Campden and the north Cotswolds since the time of the Arts and Crafts movement in the early 20th century. The Gallery is run for the benefit of the community, providing a community art exhibition space to hire by local artists to display their work to the public and for other arts related activities. From drawings, illustrations and paintings to ceramics and sculpture, photography and textiles, exhibitions are held every week throughout the year from March to December. The doors are open from 10 am to 5 pm daily; entry to the public is free.
Our shop is entirely run by, and filled with the work of Gloucestershire artists and makers. We pride ourselves on our 'localness'! You can visit the shop and the person inside will be one of the makers who may even be working on a piece at the time, so you can ask lots of questions and find out how a craft is done. The centre has a variety of arts, crafts, painting and sewing workshops running throughout the year.
D Mariana Robinson is an accomplished artist and brilliant watercolour teacher. Available for demonstrations, private tuition and tutoring art groups. The Centre arranges events, hires rooms for public and private functions, including weddings and parties, acts as a focus for artists and craftsmen and is home to a number of regular clubs, societies and sporting activities. An area of the ground floor has been converted into five artist studios, occupied by a number of local artists, who always have work on display.

Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum reopened on 5 October 2013 after major redevelopment costing in the region of £6 million. Renamed 'The Wilson' in honour of Edward Wilson, who was born in Cheltenham, and one of Scott’s key men on his 1912 expedition to Antarctica. There are four floors of temporary exhibitions for international and national touring shows and fun shows for families. An internationally renowned Arts and Crafts collection, celebrating the Arts and Crafts Movement in Britain. Free admission. Cafe serving light lunches, home-baked cakes.
