Based in the 17th century Tudor House building, the Museum exhibits are displayed across three floors, dating from the 17th to 21st centuries. There are local objects such as Sheldon tapestries, Worcester porcelain, William Morris tiles and Winchcombe Pottery. The top floor includes a dedicated gallery for temporary exhibitions, providing local artists with the opportunity to display their work. Tudor House is a fantastic Grade II * property on the main Broadway Village High Street. The displays have been curated and designed by the staff of the Ashmolean Museum.

This charming shop and museum is open to the public every day, where you will be served by our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. The house is said to be the original building which inspired Beatrix Potter to write her wonderful story The Tailor of Gloucester. Upstairs visitors can read a history of the original tailor and view a small collection of Potter memorabilia, including an automaton of mice working on the waistcoat. Free entry.
