Beatrix Potter Museum and Shop - Gloucestershire Museums & Heritage Centres
This charming shop and museum is open to the public every day, where you will be served by our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. The house is said to be the original building which inspired Beatrix Potter to write her wonderful story
The Tailor of Gloucester. Upstairs visitors can read a history of the original tailor and view a small collection of Potter memorabilia, including an automaton of mice working on the waistcoat. Free entry.
