A wide-open area of natural grassland forming part of the Cotswold Hills escarpment, with almost all of it designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It covers an area of 1000 acres and the highest point is 330m (1083ft) above sea level. With spectacular views it is a popular place for walking and other recreational activities.
